For Now. And What Comes Next.

Menopause is part of the mid life health conversation.

It isn’t the whole conversation.

understand what matters

There’s plenty of information. Not always enough understanding.

Perimenopause and menopause have finally entered the mainstream conversation. Thats a significant step forward! But for many women, more information has also brought more noise.

Hormones. HRT. Sleep. Protein. Brain fog. Cortisol. Metabolism. Strength. Bone density. Heart health. Supplements. Healthy ageing.

My work is about connecting those dots.

Drawing on more than 12 years of clinical practice, I translate the evidence into clear, practical education that helps women understand what may be changing, what else deserves attention and which health priorities matter now and for the years ahead.

Because clarity doesn’t come from knowing everything. It comes from knowing what matters.

Your health in midlife shapes the years ahead.

Making sense of midlife health in workplaces and beyond

01

SPEAKING & EVENTS

Better conversations start with better understanding.

Women’s midlife health can be complex. Talking about it doesn’t need to be.

I bring evidence-led education to workplaces, conferences and events, making perimenopause, menopause and healthy ageing easier to understand and relevant to real life.

Whether speaking to employees, leaders or event audiences, my aim is to cut through the noise, connect the dots and leave people knowing more about what matters.

02

Workplace education

Make the policy mean something.

A menopause policy can be an important step. But a document alone doesn’t create understanding.

I work with organisations to educate employees, managers and leaders — including men — about perimenopause, menopause and how these changes can affect women at work.

Whether you're bringing an existing policy to life or starting from scratch, the goal is the same: people who feel informed and comfortable talking about women's health at work.

03

ADVOCACY

Change the conversation around women’s health.

Individual care can change one woman's experience. Advocacy helps that experience matter beyond the consultation room too.

I contribute to women's health conversations at workplace and policy level, helping organisations and decision-makers better understand what women experience through midlife.

From boardrooms to government and public forums, my focus is making women's midlife health more visible and better represented where decisions are made.

About Angela

Clinical depth.

Corporate context.

Clear communication.

I’m Angela Emmerton, a Clinical Nutritionist, Western Herbal Medicine Practitioner, Women’s Midlife Health Educator and Speaker.

Before moving into health, I spent more than 20 years working across corporate environments including banking, property and aviation. I've since spent more than 12 years in clinical practice working directly with women.

Those two careers now come together in my work.

I understand the health evidence, but I also understand the environments women are navigating it in: meetings, deadlines, leadership, family responsibilities and lives that don’t stop because hormones have changed.

My job is to make the complex clearer — for women and for the organisations around them.

Transformation stories

When information finally starts to make sense

We engaged Angela to hold a webinar on nutrition and health during the Covid lockdown so that we could support our team’s mental health. Angela gave us comprehensive insights into the mind-gut connection and the important role food plays in our wellbeing. She made it relevant to our everyday lives in an informative yet interesting manner.

We have been so pleased to welcome Angela back to Endeavour on several occasions to speak at our events including graduations and other student events. She is an amazing speaker and effortlessly combines her knowledge and career experiences with inspirational and funny anecdotes. We would highly recommend Angela for further speaking engagements.

I decided to try a nutritionist to get more energy after a few years of chronic fatigue, and to break my sugar addiction. I found Angela to be attentive, empathic, knowledgeable, professional and good fun! She always understood what I needed and why and traveled with me at my pace. Through a combination of small dietary changes, and nutrients, my energy levels have risen much closer to “normal”. I now have the energy to exercise more and avoid the need for a “sugar hit”. Her evidence-based treatment options; and collaborative style is a powerful combination which is resolving my issues and giving me the knowledge and motivation to make new, healthier lifetime habits.

Angela is a knowledgeable and passionate presenter. I received positive feedback from staff who attended the talk on sugar and how to beat those sugar cravings. Being an Ambassador for ‘That Sugar Film’, Angela gave us practical tips on how to read food labels correctly and how to look for hidden sugars. Some staff members have gone on to make positive changes to benefit their health and overall wellbeing of their families. Highly recommend Angela.

I met Angela last year when I was experiencing low energy levels and issues with my immune system. She is down-to-earth, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and thorough. Angela’s advice over the past year regarding fatigue, diet and dealing with stress has been easy to integrate into my every day habits. Her suggestions regarding food and supplements have been invaluable and had a positive impact on my health and general well being.

Thank you Angela for a wonderful well-being “Food for Mood” interactive workshop for our team recently. Your knowledge on the relationship between diet & mental health, gut microbiota, nutrition, dietary styles, brain and overall wellbeing was amazing. Our team loved it and they also loved your own tea creations too. Thank you again – we look forward to our next one!

Angela hosted a fantastic webinar during lockdown. The subject matter was sugar – something we all struggle with. Angela’s session was so interactive; she engaged with the attendees, answering all questions and giving us useful ways to beat our sugar habit, whether it was that 3pm sugar craving or figuring out what to put in our kids’ lunchboxes. It was a great way to learn and at the same time connect with others while we were all stuck at home and temptation to dip into the cookie jar was ever so real! Thank you Angela

Emma

I was looking to extend my energy and fitness levels so that I could take on extra challenges. I had wanted to sign up for events like the City to Surf and a couple of other 10k runs but wanted to take a natural healthy approach. A friend put me on to Angela and I have to say she helped me get over the finish line – I am now a dedicated “Nutritional Matters” advocate – Thank you Angela.

Angela delivered an excellent wellbeing seminar, engaging our staff with practical tips to improve their own health. She is warm and witty and gets her point across in an engaging, relatable way. The staff thoroughly enjoyed the Lunch ‘n’ Learn session Angela conducted on gut health. The hands-on cooking demonstration for sauerkraut was a big hit. We look forward to more of Angela’s insights and learnings on the latest in nutrition science and will continue to use Angela as our go-to nutritionist.
